Edwin Penny 1930-2016
'Badger Cubs'
Edwin was born in Bristol and studied art at Bath School of Art and the Royal West of England Academy.
Penny worked as an Engraver before departing to Hong Kong to study Phylosophy of Far Eastern Art under
a Chinese Master. His work is clever and concise blend of Eastern restraint with delicate colouring combined with
a traditional British palette a la Archibald Thorburn.
